The Rohleder Story
We are a small Austrian team creating timeless leather goods — handcrafted from natural materials with care, clarity, and conviction.
The brand ROHLEDER is the work of three leather technicians who previously worked in the automotive industry and wanted to apply their expertise in a new way. In 2019, we founded our studio to place craftsmanship, highest product quality, and European production back at the center of focus.
Every piece is meticulously handcrafted in Austria – from full-grain, untreated leather, which, along with most of our other materials, we source exclusively from Europe. Produced in small batches, each product is shaped by skilled hands rather than mass production.
Our mission is to preserve the natural beauty of leather and to showcase it as the noble material it truly is – raw, refined, and made to last.

Max shapes every product with care. He’s responsible for our designs and makes sure each piece meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Paul
Leather Technician
With over 10 years of experience in tanneries worldwide, Paul ensures the leather we use is nothing short of exceptional. He maintains close relationships with our suppliers and knows hide from heart.
Julian
Co-Founder & Finance Lead
Julian keeps the books balanced — and the team in check. As co-founder, he handles the numbers and makes sure every decision is a sustainable one.
